Safoura Safavi is a Persian/Swedish Artist, Composer & Sound-Designer.

She started making her own music at the age of 13 and began her music studies at Hvitfeldska Music School in Gothenburg in 1998. After college Safoura decided to pursue her dream of studying flamenco in Andalusia,Spain. She moved to Sevilla 2001, in order to further her studies at the renown Fundacion Cristina Hereen.

In May 2015 she received her Bachelor's Degree in Sound-Design from StDH/SKH and in June 2021 she finished her Master's Degree in Performing Arts researching "The Inner Gaze in Artistic Practice" 

 

Safoura was the bandleader of the acclaimed band ABJEEZ and has throughout her musical career performed with various bands and musicians around the world. 

 

In 2023 she started her own Rock-Band SASA and she is currently working on the next album and  writing music for various theatre and musical projects in Sweden.
